My History
At the age of 10 I started my collecting coins with my dad. At that time I had a strong interest in collecting just about anything. I dabbled in collecting stamps for a short time and sports cards but I kept coming back to coins. Around the age of 15 my grandfather got me my first gun. Hunting has a big deal in my family so this continued to keep me interested in guns. Collecting coins and guns continued throughout my life. As I get older I’ve come to realize that this two hobbies were staples in my life and I should be using my skills in helping others.
As my life progressed, I enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 18 and spent 8 years as a submarine radioman. 6 and half of the years I spent on 2 different submarines, the USS Pintado (SSN 672) and the USS Parche (SSN 683).
After my enlistment I move to Missouri and worked in the computer field.
In 2012 I took a contractor position in for the US Navy as computer forensic analyst. During this time I deployed to Afghanistan to help with the war effort.
After that adventure I move to Arizona and continued my career.
Now I'm venturing out with Bar-K Gunworks to bring an independent assessment value guns and coins. I've been certified as a Gun Appraiser by AGI (American Gun Institute) and pistol smith.
